Care
After Each Use: Just rinse them under warm water. That's all you need for daily cleaning.
Deep Clean Every Few Weeks: Soak them in warm water with a small amount of coffee detergent, rinse thoroughly, and let them dry. Keeps coffee oils from building up over time.
Dishwasher Optional: A quick rinse usually does the trick. But if you want to toss them in the dishwasher, it won't hurt them.

Will this fit my machine?
Most likely, yes. The pack comes with three sizes (51mm, 53.5mm, and 58.5mm) that cover most home espresso machines. Breville machines use the 53.5mm. Most other prosumer machines use the 58.5mm.
Do I really need a puck screen?
Technically optional, but most home baristas notice a real difference once they start using one. It helps water spread evenly across the puck, which means cleaner extractions and less channeling. As a bonus, it keeps your shower screen cleaner over time.
Will it actually fix channeling?
It helps, but it's not magic. Channeling can come from a few different factors (uneven tamping, grind size, dose). A puck screen evens out the water distribution, which solves one common cause. Pair it with a good tamp and a consistent grind and you'll see a real improvement.
How long do they last?
With regular cleaning, they'll last for years. 316 stainless steel doesn't rust or break down, so as long as you rinse them after each shot and deep clean them every few weeks, they'll keep doing their job.
