01 / Our origin
It started online.
The seed for FLUR was planted in 2021, when our co-founder Ethan started making coffee content online and helping people brew better coffee at home. Over the next few years, he built a community of over 5 million followers all learning to make coffee shop quality drinks in their own kitchens. One question kept coming up: what glassware should they actually use?

A year later, in 2022, Ethan and his wife Liz officially launched FLUR with a simple mission: make better glassware for the way people actually drink coffee at home. From day one, they've worked with the same team of glassmakers, who have handblown every glass FLUR has ever made.

Handblown, one at a time.
We design every glass in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Every piece is handblown one at a time from borosilicate glass, the same material used in lab equipment. The double-walled design keeps hot drinks hot, cold drinks cold, and your hands comfortable throughout.
