Details
Our matcha set, built around the two things most setups get wrong: a bowl shaped for whisking, and a stand that keeps your whisk in shape. Both are handblown from borosilicate glass.
Features
Wide-base chawan, shaped for whisking and a creamy foam
Chasentate dries the whisk evenly, so it holds its shape and lasts longer
Taste-neutral
Non-toxic

Nami's founder Ashley Alexander traveled to Japan, tested hundreds of varieties, and worked directly with farms in Yame before landing on this one. It's made from Okumidori and Saemidori leaves, known for their deep green color and natural sweetness. Rich and smooth, with subtle notes of nuttiness and pistachio.
First harvest. Okumidori and Saemidori cultivars. 30g (1.06oz).
The bowl
Why glass over ceramic?
Most matcha bowls are ceramic. Glass does a few things ceramic can't. You see the foam build while you whisk. It won't stain or absorb odors over time. It handles hot water without cracking. And it's dishwasher safe, which most ceramic bowls aren't.
The ritual
Two minutes, start to finish.
Sift a teaspoon of matcha into the bowl. Add two ounces of warm water, around 175°F, not boiling. Whisk in a loose W motion until a fine foam builds, about thirty seconds. Pour over cold milk for a latte, or top with hot water and drink it straight.

I wish it came with a small spoon :3 feels like it would complete the set.
But regardless, I absolutely love mine :)

Cheers! Thanks for choosing FLUR!
I got this as a surprise for my husband for Father’s Day and he has truly loved it! He makes it every morning and loves how sturdy everything feels. Thank you! You made shopping for him very easy!
Purchased with my own money and fully honest review I love their coffee and expresso cups however the chawan terrible it’s to big and flat so every-time you whisk you damage your chasen because no matter how much water you put it just create a super thin layer if you put more water it still too big and all you get is watered down matcha and if you try to put it side way to help Conner the matcha it still doesn’t work. looks and quality it is there however function so terrible. It was a complete let down keep in mind I did even use double matcha and water to try and create a foam however completely a let down I truly did try to make it work however it’s the only chawan that I have had this issue with
I actually got my first matcha set from Japan, the typical ceramic bowl, whisk holder, and what-nots just a week before I bought this set, which is ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL. I was skeptical since it was made of glass, but I watched the process of how FLUR makes their glass pieces and I was intrigued, and I was glad to make this purchase because now I get to be making the best matcha with the most aesthetically pleasing glass matcha set I have ever seen. Also huge shout-out to Nami matcha, your matcha is 🔥🔥!! Will def buy again. All I’m missing now is a FLUR glass cup for my matcha lattes 😝
I love this matcha kit and the matcha is soooo delicious. the glass is nice and sturdy and arrived in the nicest packaging. i’ve already made so many matchas at home and i love it!
I bought the matcha set and the iced coffee cups and I am so happy with both. First of all the packaging is perfect, very sturdy and high quality, so well thought out. Then the matcha bowl is just the right size and width. The iced coffee cups are perfect and look great. I had exchanged the latte cups for the iced coffee ones. To be honest the latte cups are too wide and they are hard to hold. I wish they were slightly taller and less wide, I think then they would be perfect. I also worry about holding them with wet hands. If the glass slips out of your hand you're screwed.
I really wanted to love this matcha kit and while I appreciate the wider matcha bowl, it unfortunately misses the mark as it is actually too wide. If only using around 1/4 cup of water with matcha powder you aren’t able to get a good whisk action or microfoam due to the dispersion of water and the whisk scratching against the bottom of the bowl.
I bought the Flurr chawan because I had really been wanting to try it, and I genuinely think it’s beautiful. The size is amazing, it’s nice and spacious, and the quality feels really solid and well made. You can tell it’s a good piece.
That said, the base is pretty flat. When I make matcha, I feel like the powder sticks to the bottom and sides, and the chasen doesn’t fully incorporate everything as easily. I wish the base were a little more curved, because that really helps the whisk pick up all the matcha and create a smoother foam. With a more rounded bottom, the motion flows better and the matcha blends more evenly.
This is my first matcha set and I love it. It’s really easy to use and I love the clean ability and its storability. Thank you for making this product. Also, the Matcha is fantastic that comes with it.
A 30g tin of Nami matcha. First harvest, single origin from Yame, Japan. Okumidori and Saemidori cultivars, with notes of natural sweetness, nuttiness, and pistachio.
