Iced Spanish Latte
This is the coffee I'd make for someone who says they don't like coffee. It's creamy, it's sweet, and the best way I can describe it is Cinnamon Toast Crunch in coffee form.
Ingredients
- 2 shots of espresso
- 1½ tablespoons sweetened condensed milk
- ⅛ teaspoon cinnamon
- 4 to 6 oz milk
- Ice
Instructions
-
Pull 2 shots of espresso. If you don't have an espresso machine, mix 1 teaspoon of instant coffee with 4 tablespoons of hot water and you've got the same effect.
-
Add the espresso, sweetened condensed milk, and cinnamon to a cocktail shaker. Shake everything together for about 10 to 15 seconds. Traditionally you'd just stir these together, but shaking is what gives this version that extra creamy texture.
-
Pour it into our iced coffee glass, top it with more ice and pour in your milk.
Pro tip
Don't have a cocktail shaker? A mason jar with a tight lid works just as well. As long as you can shake it hard for 10 to 15 seconds, you'll get the same creamy texture.
