Creamy Hibiscus Lemonade (with Olive Oil)
Ingredients:
- 1 cup cold water
- 1 tbsp hibiscus powder
- 1–2 tbsp agave (adjust to taste)
- Half of a lemon
- pinch of salt
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- ice
Instructions:
1. Add everything—water, hibiscus powder, agave, half a lemon, salt, and olive oil—into a blender.
2. Blend on high until smooth and creamy.
3. Strain over ice if you want it and garnish with more lemon or a lime wedge.
Notes
- Blending half a lemon (skin and all) gives it extra citrusy depth and natural bitterness that works so well here.
- Use a good-quality olive oil with a buttery or fruity flavor—it makes a difference.
- Hibiscus powder can be strong and tart. Start small and adjust to taste if you’re new to it.
- Agave is mellow and blends easily, but you can swap in honey or simple syrup.
